Pancakes will be served all day. In Ireland, it’s a family tradition to serve pancakes on  Pancake Tuesday (Fat Tuesday, in America.) Brendan remembers the delicious crepe-like pancakes being served on that Tuesday, but good as they were, never had them any other day of the year!
